Leisa Aitken will be exploring the ways in which hope is not only a feeling and a mindset that motivates action but also a lens through which we know the world.
This has many resonances with Esther Meek's epistemological framework and Mark Strom's view that faith, hope and love can be seen as ways of knowing. Leisa will also discuss strategies that she uses with clients in therapy to better enable our ultimate hope of cosmic restoration to practically impact our lives now.
Leisa is a clinical psychologist approaching the end of a PhD on the psychological experience of Hope.
